Job Summary
Job Position: Procurement Officer
Job Location: Ajah, Lagos
Job Description
- Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses
- Enter order details (e.g. vendors, quantities, prices) into internal databases
- Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers
- Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices
- Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing
- Research potential vendors
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years Procurement experience in the Healthcare or medical devices & pharmaceuticals industry.
- Knowledge of designing and implementing procurement policies and procedures
- Graduate qualification preferably in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement or equivalent field
- Demonstrated ability to achieve cost savings.
Preferred:
- Chartered of instituted of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) qualification would be a definite advantage.
- Demonstrated negotiation and sourcing skills
- Resident around Lekki, Ajah and environs.
