Job Title: Structural Engineer
Location: Nigeria
Qualifications and Experience
- Must be versatile with designs of building.
- Experienced in analysing configurations of basic structural components of a building or other structure
- Requisite experience in considering the strength of various materials to see how their inclusion may necessitate a change of structural design.
- Knowledge in liaising with other designers including Architects to agree on safe designs and their fit with the aesthetic concept of the construction.
- Must be able to make drawings specification and computer models of structures for building contractors.
- Must have strong analytical and technical skills
- Must be sensitive to timeliness and deadlines and ensure work is accomplished within the stipulated time.
- Age 45 years and above.
- Minimum of BSc/B.Tech in Civil Engineering/Architecture or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in a similar position.
- Good knowledge of MS Office and structural design software
- Very good knowledge of English.
- Independent, interdisciplinary building skill and knowledge.
- High level of motivation and commitment
- Must be a member of COREN Professional qualification will be an added advantage
