We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Senior Credit Analyst

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Job Family: Credit

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct credit checks on all customers, establish and manage limits
• Manage Cash application, making sure all cash receipts are applied properly
• Maintaining and strengthen Client relationships
• Reporting on aged debtors
• Managing the credit control function by liaising with clients to resolve payment queries in a timely manner
• Reconciling the sales ledger
• Responsible for the overall maintenance of the billing schedule
• Develop and Improve, where necessary, billing and credit control process
• Overseeing the raising of invoices and credit notes in a timely and accurate manner
• Working capital management including updates to the Treasury Department
• Ownership of the debtors schedule with a clear understanding of client payment terms and likely payment dates
• Providing any necessary support schedules and reconciliations for the month end review
• Supporting the Finance Manager and geozone Credit & OTC Manager
• Ad hoc duties as required

Qualifications
Preferred:

• The ability to manage priorities and work to tight deadlines without compromising accuracy
• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent Analytical skills along with the ability to create and present detailed reports
• Previous experience in working with multiple currencies
• B.Sc Degree or HND (Upper Credit) in Accounting or Finance
• 7years experience in credit and collections, 3 of which must be at supervisor level
• Knowledge of JD Edward or similar ERP
• Possess an all-round knowledge of Accounts Receivable processing and general ledger accounting
• Previous experience in an Accounts Receivable supervisor or managerial role
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
