Candidate Requirements
We are seeking to appointment an effective, strong and inspirational leader who has:

• Up to date knowledge of the National Curriculum in the UK and Nigeria
• Significant experience of self-evaluation, school improvement planning, curriculum development, assessment and data analysis
• The skills to develop the school as part of the local, national and global community
• The ability to provide a culture where everyone is valued and encouraged to succeed
• Experience of excellent leadership in Secondary Schools
• High expectations and is committed to raising the achievement of every child
• A proven track record of quality teaching and high student attainment and progress
• A relentless commitment to continuous school improvement

Qualifications and experience

• Minimum of 7+ years’ experience in a school leadership role
• Qualified teacher status - registered with TRCN
• The successful applicant will be enthusiastic and positive with the ability to work as part of a team and motivate others. Experience in an International School setting is preferred.
• A good first degree in a relevant field of study
• Professional teaching and administrative qualifications are essential
• A Master’s Degree in Education or a PHD in a related field is an advantage
