Job Title: Art and Design Teacher

Job Location: Enugu
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description: 

• We are seeking passionate and qualified classroom teachers. Each position will focus on delivering high-quality education in specific subjects within the British curriculum while applying the Montessori Principles.

Responsibilities

• Inspire a lifelong passion for the arts and encourage artistic experimentation
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching methods and resources.
• Participate in staff meetings, workshops, and professional development opportunities.
• Nurture creativity and self-expression through visual arts and design projects
• Teach techniques in drawing, painting, sculpture, and design thinking
• Showcase student work through exhibitions and displays

Job Requirements:

• Teaching qualification/certification.
• Proficiency in MS Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional attitude and commitment to education.
• Previous teaching experience is preferred.
• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Education or relevant subject area.
• An NCE with good knowledge of early years may be considered.
• Proficiency in British English
• Experience teaching British curriculum subjects
• Experience with the Montessori technique is an advantage
• Strong computer skills, especially in Microsoft Suite
