  • Market Activations - Carry out weekly market activations in the territory to generate leads and eventual conversion to sales.
  • Identify Opportunities - Constantly identify opportunities for driving activation and other sales within clusters.
  • Plans - Draw up weekly/Monthly route plans for the Sales Agents .

Achieve Excellent PH:

  • Overdue Customer Lists- Monitor and Share weekly overdue customer lists with the Sales Agents.
  • Training- Continuous training and coaching of RPCs on God/Bad portfolios, catch up etc.
  • Influence Customer Behavior- Drive the right customer behavior on payments by ensuring customers are educated on the various channels of payments.
  • Sales Compliance - Drive sales process compliance within clusters
  • Customer Visits - Carry out daily/weekly customer visitations to resolve or escalate pending issues with customer systems.
  • Product Choice- Ensure the right product is sold to the right customers.
  • Field Clinic- Participate in Field clinic activities.

Recruitment, Training and Team management:

  • Recruitment- Regularly recruit new Sales Agents within territory.
  • Performance Monitoring- Weekly performance monitoring of RPCs and initiating corrective actions where required.
  • Meetings- Hold regular meeting with the RPCs.
  • Training- Regularly train and retrain cluster team leads on sales process, Sales pitch, products, Customer Service etc.
  • Commission Structure- Ensure Sales Agents understanding of commission structures (Colours) and journey with EEA.
  • Reward- Design reward and recognition schemes for high performing RPCs .
  • Customer Forums - Participate in customer service forums, field clinics, weekly meetings with Service Center Associates.
  • Team Building - Drive #One Team goal within clusters via team building activities

After Sales Support:

  • Overdue Customer Visits - Regularly visit overdue customers to ascertain their challenges and resolve.
  • Escalate issues - Escalate lingering issues to the Head of Sales.
  • Swap stocks - Deploy and track swap stocks and children in the territory.
  • Repossession - Repossess product kits from fringe customers.
  • Quality Check - Daily/weekly checks on quality of installations by Sales Agents.

Stakeholders Engagement:

  • Identify and organise official meetings with relevant external stakeholders such as local chiefs, community leaders, government officials etc.
  • May represent the business during community engagements and goodwill activities.

Reporting:

  • Send weekly/monthly reports on sales activities within territory using approved template.

Required Skills and Experience 

  • 2 - 4+ years working in a role within a progressive sales and/or financial services environment with strong, quantifiable results.
  • Experience or passion for working in developing markets.
  • B.Sc. Degree or Equivalent.

 Highly Desired Skills 

  • Ability to work both in teams and independently.
  • Good problem solving skills (solutions oriented).
  • Flexibility with ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Willingness and desire to learn new ideas.
  • Passionate about solving problems for customers in rural communities.

Position Summary

  • Reporting to the board of directors, the Institute Manager (IM) will have overall strategic and operational responsibility for the training Center on behalf of ACT
  • The IM is responsible for overseeing a robust system of performance measurement, driving ongoing program development and improvement, and making substantial contributions to income, communications, and many other leadership functions
  • The Learning Center will has already undergone a significant renovation of its facilities, and a key role of the IM will be to manage the expansion and enhancement of the Learning Center’s programs and services
  • The Learning Center will serve hundreds of adults each year through forex education courses, ranging from beginner, intermediate and advanced
  • The IM will manage a diverse team and will works closely with the management of ACT to ensure that the Learning Institute delivers high-quality programs to its clients

Responsibilities

  • Directly supervise a team to achieve organizational goals. Recruit, hire, and manage team members, holding them to a high standard of performance and ensuring compliance with all ACT personnel policies and procedures.
  • Oversee legal issues related to the Learning Center and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure effective systems to track Learning Center program development and outcomes and regularly evaluate program components to ensure that the requirements of ACT brokers are being met.
  • Build partnerships with outside organizations to improve services to Learning Center students and coordinate ACT Brokers services with other community resources.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of high-quality programming for the Learning Center, built on best practices in the field, innovation, and sharing of resources.
  • Develop and maintain policies and procedures for the Learning Center.
  • Oversee the safety of students served by the Learning Center through policies and procedures, staff training, facilities oversight, and other methods.
  • Ensure ongoing programmatic excellence, rigorous program evaluation, and consistent quality of finance and administration, income, communications, and systems relating to the Learning Center.
  • Work with ACT development staff to expand revenue activities to support existing events operations and programmatic/capital expansion.
  • Other duties not included here may be assigned.

Qualifications

  • The IM will be thoroughly committed to ACT’s mission. All candidates should have proven leadership, management, and program development experience as well as proven experience in programs that work with individuals of all levels of education and various backgrounds.

Other Qualifications include:

  • At least 3 years of experience in one or more of the following roles: leading a performance- and outcomes-based program and staff; developing and operationalizing strategies that have grown the capacity and effectiveness of programs; working in a leadership position in a program or organization serving people from all backgrounds.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; a persuasive and passionate communicator with excellent interpersonal and multidisciplinary project skills.
  • Action-oriented, entrepreneurial, adaptable, and innovative.
  • Ability to work effectively in collaboration with diverse groups of people.

Requirements

  • COREN certification will be preferred.
  • Background with Sales in Building Materials (Technical) is ideal for consideration.
