 DNA Learning Solutions - Our client, an indigenous oil & gas servicing company based in Port Harcourt that provides Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Installation services, is recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: QAQC Coordinator (Oil and Gas)

Job Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description: 

  • Manages all aspects of Quality on contract including supervising assigned quality personnel, overseeing the implementation of the Contract Quality Plan, acting as primary liaison to client on all quality related issues and responsible for ensuring sufficient training is conducted for project personnel on the Quality Management System and project specific procedures
  • Coordinates contract quality activities with the Project Teams including determining resources, establishing primary objectives and developing of the Audit & Surveillance Plan
  • Review, coordinate, and accept all contractors' deliverables as detailed in the Supplier Document Index such as quality plans, inspection and test plans, method statements, procedures, specifications, materials supplies and certification, trade tests, third party inspection etc. prior to work commencing
  • Ensures that all other required audits, self-assessments and inspections are carried out and that relevant remedial work plans are developed with effective closure.
  • Monitor and ensure that a comprehensive record of documentation and certification of work is maintained to support a satisfactory handover of the completed plant to the Client.

Job Requirements

  • A Degree in an Engineering discipline or equivalent complemented with training in the domain of ISO 9001 / Internal Auditing.
  • 5 - 10 years work experience.
  • A Sound working knowledge of welding and NDT and ability to lead quality audits and assessments.
  • Supervisory QAQC experience within the oil and gas sector
  • Proven experience in internal and external auditing with knowledge of relevant regulations and legislation
  • Membership of a relevant and recognized International institute.
  • Experience in developing quality plan for bids and projects
  • Experience in working with Bid and Tender team

Net Monthly Pay

  • N600,000
