We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Waitress

Job Description:

• Ensure that the dining area is tidy and well-maintained.
• Recommend additional items or specials to enhance the customer experience.
• Encourage customers to try new menu items or promotions.
• Stay informed about the menu, including daily specials and ingredients.
• Be able to describe dishes and provide information about preparation methods.
• Work collaboratively with kitchen and other restaurant staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Communicate effectively with fellow waitstaff and management.
• Follow hygiene and safety guidelines to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Adhere to food safety regulations.
• Handle customer complaints or issues with professionalism and a customer-focused approach.
• Report significant issues to management if necessary.
• Welcome patrons as they enter the establishment.
• Escort customers to their tables and provide menu
• Answer questions about the menu and make recommendations.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and promptly.
• Relay orders to the kitchen staff and ensure that special requests or dietary restrictions are communicated.
• Serve meals and beverages in a timely and efficient manner.
• Ensure that orders are accurately delivered to the correct table.
• Periodically check in with customers to ensure their satisfaction.
• Address any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
• Present bills to customers and process payments.
• Handle cash and provide change accurately.
• Clear and clean tables after customers leave.

Job Requirements:

• Candidates should possess an SSCE qualification with at least 2 years experience.
