We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Technical Staff (Mechanic)

Job Summary

  • Inspect and maintain vehicle service operations, executing preventive maintenance such as engine tune-ups, oil changes, tire rotation and changes, wheel balancing, replacing filters.
Job Responsibilities
  • Comply with state vehicle requirements by testing engine, safety and combustion control standards
  • Maintain vehicle appearance by cleaning, washing and painting
  • Maintain vehicle records by recording service and repairs
  • Manage shop equipment operation by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, performing preventive maintenance and calling for repairs.
  • Access and complete vehicle preventive maintenance including engine tune-ups, oil changes, tire rotation and changes, wheel balancing, replacing filters, ensuring vehicles are available for use
  • Listen, document and address vehicle operator complaints; conduct inspections; repair engine failures; repair mechanical and electrical system malfunctions; replace parts and components; repair body damage
  • Verify vehicle serviceability by conducting test drives; adjusting controls and systems
Qualifications/Experience
  • Experience in the automotive industry
  • Proven track record on the repairs of Sino Trucks, Shackman Trucks. GAC, Toyota vans, buses, etc.
  • Minimum of Trade Test I, II, III or Degree in  Mechanical/Automobile Engineering or any related discipline
  • 5 years cognate experience in automotive workshop
Competence:
  • Good communication ability both verbally and in writing
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Sound knowledge of operations management and inventory management
  • Ability to work with numbers, multitask and prioritize workloads.
  • Automotive systems (vehicle layout, function and location of parts)
  • Knowledge of mechanical issues, warranties, service and general repair
  • Goal-oriented energetic and passionate
  • Integrity, work ethic and professionalism
