Job Title: Police Escort Driver 

Job Location: Warri - Delta & Lekki - Lagos

Key Responsibilities
The Job duties include but are not limited to:

• Carry out post-operative checks to the escort vehicle/contents and advise of any defects.
• Expect regular nights out during the working week.
• Communicate effectively in a professional manner with all third parties.
• Use navigation applications to determine the best route.
• Ensure that the vehicle is fueled and ready for use.
• Preparing the VIP vehicle before use; advise of any defects and rectify as required.
• Checking the condition of vehicle and load before departure.
• Understand and comply with movement orders.
• Positioning escort vehicle appropriately on the road to warn traffic of oncoming vehicle.
• Respond appropriately to emergencies, incidents, unexpected situations and breakdowns.

Qualifications / Competencies

• Sound knowledge of road safety regulations.
• Working knowledge of local roads and routes.
• The ability to utilize maps, GPS systems, and car manuals.
• Effective communication skills.
• Punctual and reliable.
• Minimum of an SSCE with at least 5 years of experience as a Corporate Driver.
• Spy Police Escort Driving Experience an added advantage.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Able to read and write.
• Clean driving record.
