Job Title: Full-Stack E-commerce Developer

Job Description: 
As a Full-Stack E-commerce Developer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining our e-commerce platform. From WordPress and WooCommerce to Shopify, your expertise in both front-end and back-end development will ensure our website remains innovative, user-friendly, and optimized for performance.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

• Develop and customize e-commerce websites using WordPress, WooCommerce, and Shopify platforms, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
• Design and implement responsive front-end interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web technologies to enhance user experience and engagement.
• Create custom themes, plugins, and extensions to meet specific project requirements and optimize website performance.
• Collaborate with designers, marketers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions and implement best practices for e-commerce websites.
• Optimize website speed, performance, and security through efficient coding, caching mechanisms, and other optimization techniques.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues related to website functionality, responsiveness, and compatibility across different devices and browsers.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in e-commerce development to continuously improve skills and enhance website capabilities.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members, including mentoring junior developers and conducting code reviews.
• Manage version control systems and deployment processes to ensure smooth and efficient development workflows.
• Flexibility to start within 2 weeks and work on location in Victoria Island as required.

Job Requirements:

• HND/BSc degree holder in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 4 - 6years of experience in e-commerce development, with proficiency in WordPress, WooCommerce, and Shopify platforms.
• Strong knowledge of PHP programming language and experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Experience with full-stack development, including both front-end and back-end development using WordPress and WooCommerce.
• Familiarity with Shopify development and customization, including theme development, app integration, and API usage.
• Proficiency in using version control systems such as Git and familiarity with deployment tools and processes.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently without direct supervision, while also being a collaborative team player.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Knowledge of Flutter framework is a plus.
• Commitment to staying updated on the latest technologies, trends, and best practices in e-commerce development.
